Peer Advising Services
The Connection Project Facilitators
- Other Peer Leadership Services
Description
TCP is looking for compassionate and motivated students who are interested in facilitating small groups of peers. Do you enjoy learning new interpersonal and leadership skills? Do you want to support students in finding belonging at Virginia Tech? Do you value authentic connections with others? If you answered “yes” to any of these, you should probably apply to become a TCP Facilitator.
TCP brings together small groups of new students to have discussions led by 2 trained facilitators (1 of which could be you!) about what brings us together, keeps us apart, and how these things manifest at Virginia Tech.
Here are just some of the benefits of facilitating:
- Learn invaluable skills in leadership and group management.
- Become part of a supportive team of fellow facilitators and program leaders.
- Get graded credit for working with peers to find belonging at Virginia Tech.
