Description

Study Abroad Peer Advisors help Hokies explore the world by sharing personal insights and guiding students through study abroad options that fit their academic and personal goals. Advisors assist with appointments and walk-ins, provide information on programs, policies, and procedures, and support GEO office operations such as greeting visitors, answering phones, processing documents, and maintaining databases. They also represent GEO at events, classroom presentations, and information fairs. This role builds skills in communication, teamwork, and intercultural engagement while supporting GEO’s mission to make study abroad accessible to all Virginia Tech students.
